Cold Weather Cycling tips:

We've all been there - feet and fingers frozen, knees stiffening up to the point where you wonder what the point of being out there in the cold is. Here are some of my favorite keep warm tips (If you have some great winter riding tips please email me and I might put them up on the site.

Tip #1) Put on a set of latex gloves underneath your regular winter mitts. The latex (or you can buy non-latex) doesn't breathe so your hands begin to sweat and hold in heat much more efficiently.

Tip #2). Put Duct tape over the vents on your shoes and/or use saran wrap over your feet as well to hold heat. Of course the best is neoprene shoe covers…. But every little bit counts. Also covering the vents on your helmet can help hold in a little extra heat.

Tip#3). Saran wrap underneath your tights/leg warmers. Seems to help me a little on cold rides.
